Quality Hotel™ Olavsgaard

Quite a big hotel situated beside the E6 road between Oslo City and the Gardermoen Airport (OSL). The hotel itself is spacious and has a very big conference facility. The rooms themselves are comfortable and big enough and has tv, place for a laptop and a water cooker with tea and coffee (strangely enough they do not have creamer at the hotel). Downstairs the restaurant area is bigger than it seems at first eye and the breakfast has quite a lot of choice. There is also a coffee machine that produces Latte etc. there and availlable packages of cream if you miss your white coffee missing from your room. The staff are friendly and helpful! Check the way you get there: If you are by car, there is free parking and the huge white building is easy to find next to the E6. We took the train from the airport to Oslo and stepped out in Lillestrøm stasjon and then took bus 340 (or 380) to Olavsgaard which is next to the hotel. We did however take the wrong 340 bus on our way back and almost lost our flight so make sure and ask if it is going to Lillestrøm.

The Hotel provides a modern and comfortable environment with very nice rooms, the food is excellent and the staff was great, friendly and professional. I would really recommend this hotel. The location is great. A bus station is right in front of the hotel, It akes maybe 25 min to Oslo and maybe 20 min to the airport. Nice hotel for conventions and group activities.

Much better than it was in the past. The rooms are new, modern and all the latest media and equipment solutions. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the hub of busses. The breakfast is top notch, great selection of warm foods and bread as always in Norway really good.

Old and out dated hotel in the suburbs of Oslo It's close to the customer I visit in the area therefore I choose this hotel. The room is clean but its smells from the pipes in the toilet and it have done that everytime so not a sudden problem it's a standard smell. And why no electricity by the bed so one can charge the phone, its 2019 and one needs a lit of possibilities to charge phone iPad etc. The food at night is ok but not more than ok. The breakfast is Norwegian standard and is ok but not fantastic.

Spent the night as a stopover on the way through. Was caught off guard by the outward appearance of the hotel, but everything inside was spot on. Helpful staff, a clean welcoming room, and a breakfast spread that was beyond expectations. As it was later in the evening when we arrived, we ate dinner in the restaurant on site. My creamy pasta was good, and i enjoyed the shrimp. The wife had a great little hamburger. We would happily stay again and highly recommend this place.
