Nice location and parking next door But Started with the slowest checkin process ever! Came at 1500 and room was not ready, ok we can leave bags and head out no problem. When we returned a group was in the lobby -which is so cramped that people end up waiting in the entrance double doors. When we did finally get in the receptionist was friendly. Old hotel that has had an update to look more that a boutique hotel - fine but you miss some of the history of the building. The room was fine, beds good. While windows to the sea front seemed sealed the room door did nothing for the noisy drunk middle aged man that was shouting good night to the world at 0230am. Rationing of toilet paper and soaps where in full effect in out room which just felt silly. The real problem we had was with the meals. An evening light meal is included but if you are vegetarian you are out of luck. It was fish the night we were there - which actually cause 2/3 to vomit at night. It was not a buffet (COVID-19 impact) but instead was tendered to by an extremely abrasive woman of non-Norwegian origins. We crossed our fingers for breakfast. while the choice was as little more it really was not the hotel breakfast buffet we are all use too. We also needed to book a time to come which just made it all rushed. They served you on a small plate and I had the feeling they were saving rations here too - I ate no meat so asked for more potatoes but it was not exactly a man sized breakfast. We all were disappointed unfortunately and it can’t all be blamed on the current situation. I would recommend that to hotel staff goes to other hotels to see how they do it.

Was very disappointed with this hotel. It is in bad need of a full renovation. When we arrived our room wasn't cleaned well and was in poor condition. The toilet seat, bathroom door and faucet were all broken in some manner. The sheets were also marked up and should have been discarded. They never recleaned the room which we asked them to do. They also don't provide shampoo, only some shower gel, which I've never heard of a hotel doing. The only positives were the location and that the kitchen prepared some food for us to takeaway as we were leaving early for a hike in the morning.

Hotel Skagen Brygge is ideally positioned for a Stavanger city center visit. Close to shops and restaurants and yes, pay for the view of the seaside. Skagen has modern rooms with comfortable beds and a fine bathroom. Not much space on the room floor for opening suitcases though. Great feeling looking out onto the sea basin with some old ships. You even get the sunset. Why then only three buttons from me? The breakfast routine was not worthy a hotel. COVID-19 ok, but we were booked 30 minutes to eat, but still without any control. We did not see the extra cleaning they claimed they had between guests. Slowest hand out of limited food you can imagine. Long 15 minutes queue through the restaurant every morning, which clearly has much less capacity than rooms. Very poorly managed! No interest either, I discussed it with them. Think twice before you book this place. Location saves it to average.

Family trip to Stavanger, this place is great, on the water in the center of town. Clean rooms, good breakfast, great little outdoor sitting area for a drink. Super staff and everything is no problem, with staff.

Good service. Social distancing due to Covid-19 was taken good care off. A very Nice restaurant serving Both dinner/evening food and breakfast free. Food was good. Parking house close to the hotel, but no hotel parking. Situated by the see, at the harbour. Ask for sea view. Clean, good size room With sufficient equipment. Good beds, quiet.
