Our stay at Hotel Fabian was exactly what we were looking for. Courteous and prompt service, outstanding breakfast! (I will assume the courtyard opens in warmer weather) and great location. Clean fully equipped room. I would (hopefully will) stay at Hotel Fabian Helsinki again soon :) Steve

Extremely pleasant staff, great location

Our stay was fabulous. The staff are extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location was central for seeing the sights, shopping and some great restaurants. The breakfast had many great options. The suite style room was spacious and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay, would not change a thing about this hotel!

Wish we could have stayed more days. Luxurious Boutique hotel

Enjoy "boutique" hotels that have personality. Room was large for what I expect from a European hotel. Beds/bedding/pillows very comfortable. Enjoyed overall room fixtures, lighting and bathroom (there are also slippers, robes). We think the room itself was nicer that the photo reflects. Staff at check-in and during day very helpful and friendly. Were able to leave luggage when we wanted to sight see. Umbrellas available to borrow. Breakfast had many choices, were tasty and well described (and gluten free etc). Staff at breakfast attentive and friendly. Excellent experience. Pleasant walk about 15 min from train station. Like location near harbor. Wish we could have stayed more days. Looked like the bar was fun too.

Bedroom with Air conditioning problem, impossible to turn off.

Hotel with a perfect situation, in a quite area with a good quality price ratio. Ambiance and decoration is top notch Style room has a nice and pleasant surface. Beds are very comfy Breakfast is great with fresh products / porridge / smoked salmon / bread is good / fresh fruits salad... The bad point is air conditioning in bedroom which dries up the air, you can’t stop AC and can’t open the windows.... we asked to the housekeeper but couldn’t so anything !?!? We came back 4 days later and the problem was still there !!!

I will take this up with the housekeeping, our team at the front desk have a solution for most of the problems experienced even tough the AC can not be shut down completely. A lovely, very comfortable stay

We've stayed in Helsinki before - this time it was for 2 nights following a week in Lapland. The Fabian is centrally located (we took a 10 minute walk from the central station). The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and the room was quiet, spacious and well equipped. For me, the quality of the breakfast in any hotel is paramount and in this case it was just lovely. Fully recommend the hotel - we'll certainly be back.
