Clarion Collection® Hotel Carlscrona

Business trip, very nice and comfortable room. I did some workout in their gym, and it was clean and nice except not much equipment to use. Dinner and breakfast was included, and both were very good, with fresh ingredients. The room was alright except the two bed were moving apart leaving a small gap between them, which was uncomfortable. All in all a very nice stay though.

Good location, room with sea view near Sea and City Center. Clean room and good beds. Breakfast, afternoon coffee and evening meal is excellent. A small but nice garden where you can have your coffee.Free parking across the street in weekends. All the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is my go to place when staying in Karlskrona. It’s a great location and the staff is really friendly plus the rooms are great too, especially the ones on the third floor. There’s a free (and very fresh) evening meal offered and the parking is easily available across the street. Very nice place and I can highly recommend it.

I visited Karlskrona for just two days last month. Being on a very tight schedule on business, my stay at Clarion was a real stress buster. The hotel's location is very nice in terms of its proximity from Railway Station, city center and Sea. Rooms are clean, hotel's ambiance is very Nordic, breakfast was amazing and even there small but beautiful restaurant. Overall a very nice property to stay in Karlskrona. Tip: Ask for rooms having sea view.

We stayed for two nights in a superior room, over a weekend and our stay suited our needs. The location, was really handy for us. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable beds and good WiFi. Parking was close by and on the weekend it's free! The bathroom was a good size (I have seen smaller), however, there were only two thin bath towels for two people. I found the room too warm. There was no air-conditioning and there was only one small window that can be opened and even though I had this open the whole night, I found it hard to sleep. Clarion Hotels always insist on using the same thick duvets all year round and in all their hotels, it is a bit strange? Something else that was strange, were the small holes in the walls above the lights in the bathroom and above the mirror in the bedroom! They were obviously there after repairs or changes from moving these things, but why wasn't the job done properly? The hotel offers free breakfast and offered a good variety in typical Swedish fare. This could be eaten in a beautiful glassed-in conservatory which was really cosy over- looking the garden. Also a complementary two-course (buffet-style) evening meal is offered, which many guests seemed to enjoy. When we left the receptionist promptly prepared our receipt and handed it over with a smile, but she never asked "did you enjoy your stay"..it's a shame. They are small things but they do bring down the overall experience.
