This hotel offers a free evening meal, which turned out to be more than satisfactory, good food, pleasant surroundings. Staff was very helpful and cancelled an erroneous booking at no charge in a friendly and quiet way. Only shortcoming was a noisy air condition in room that could not be silenced

Pleasant stay with a few negatives

I stayed for one night, the hotel is old but quaint. Nice decor if a little too dated in some areas. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of selection and really nice coffee. Two negatives were dinner service finishes at 8.30pm (Really!!) and there is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel.

Two nights in a slightly upgrade room, absolutely nothing to complain about. Decent clean room with splendid beds, tasty free evening meal as well as full buffet breakfast, and very convenient back-yard parking against a reasonable fee. Central location in the appealing mid-sized town of Falun, with a number of real must-sees close by. A very enjoyable mini-vacation!

Good location, okay bedroom

The hotel looks nice from outside and the lobby area is cosy, however the bedroom that we had is small and very simple. It has no character. The breakfast and the evening meal were adequate, nothing special. The hotel location is close to the train station and city center. I think this place is more suitable for business visit, not for holiday.

We asked for a quiet location and had a room facing the parking lot. Glad that we got that and not one facing the street with noise . The room was a superior, but was very small and somewhat warm. The breakfast was ok and dinner also. Perhaps the staff should try and inforce the covid-19 rules, as most guest had trouble keeping the required distance...
