The rooftop of Clarion Hotel The Hub will be home to a large field that will provide local produce and green experiences to guests. The largest rooftop field in the Nordics will be known as the GrowHub!
We are trialling a whole new way of producing food for an urban society with GrowHub, which will be both sustainable and economical. We hope that others will follow suit and that we can look forward to green rooftops across our urban landscape in the future. The GrowHub will be a pioneering project that aspires to promote local and traditionally grown plants. Guests, visitors and Oslo locals will thereby have the chance to sample flavours of Oslo made from healthy, real and tasty produce.
Collaboration with urban farmer Andreas Capjon and top chef Marcus Samuelsson
The menu of our restaurant on the 13th floor is the result of a collaboration with Swedish top chef Marcus Samuelsson. Andreas Capjon, the well-known urban farmer from Losæter, is in charge of the GrowHub.
