Farris Bad on tasokas kylpylähotelli meren rannalla. Kylpylä sijaitsee osin meren päällä, mikä mahdollistaa myös meressä uimisen. Tarjolla on erilaisia saunoja, mukaan lukien Finnish sauna. Hotellissa ja huoneissa on tilan tuntua, ja palvelu varsinkin vastaanotossa oli erittäin ystävällistä. Matkustimme Larvikiin junalla Oslon suunnasta ja jatkoimme laivalla Tanskaan.

Farris spa immediately gave a positive impression when you enter pleasant surroundings. The staff is very nice and the room was nice and clean. Covid measures were good and I felt safe all the time. There was access to antibac everywhere and everyone kept their distance. The spa department invited to relaxation and has many offers. The dinner was wonderfully good.

Wonderful spa. Idiotic parking system that gave us a parking ticket of NOK 600 and the whole system is outsourced to a different company so the staff can't assist you. When you pay thousands and thousands for a stay, this type of greed makes the whole experience sour.

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback. In spite of trouble with the parking I must say the 4 star rating is generous. The parking in the garage and across the road is handled by the property owner and I am sorry we were not able to do more for you in this case. We inform as best as we can prior to arrival to pay at the automat or the parking company`s app. I hope this will not prevent you from a new visit, we are here for you. We where 2 couples going to Larvik for a Spa weekend The rooms was okay, but if we compare them with the VERY upscale pricing, nothing more. The rooms and the place was clean and the cleaning staff was doing a VERY good job in the Covid19 times. But the reception had LONG ques with only 2-3 people working and using really long time on each person enetering the hotel. The omelets served at breakfast was made of "powder" we think, because the form and colour of it made us think that, and that is also strange for a hotel at this price range. Very nice pool and spa areas, we where lucky it was Covid19 restrictions with less people, because then this experience was perfect. We had view directly over to the walls and terraces of a living area, parking garage and shop, so that did not either match the pricing! It was okay, cleand and had a nice Spa, but nothing extra!

Hi Kurt. Glad to see that you experienced the spa and found the Covid-19 restrictions to make it even more enjoyable. We have intensified our cleaning routines all through the hotel and I will share your kind feedback with our team members in housekeeping. This means a lot, thank you so much. There is quite a bit of information to go through upon check.-in and even though we try to prepare as much as possible in advance, check-in can take longer than usual as we want to secure that all our guests are familiarized with the Covid-19 guidelines. We have just recently got a new and better system that will help us a lot and cause less waiting time for guests. We completed a renovation of all rooms earlier this year and added extra comfort to our beds with new luxurious duvets, pillows and linen. From what I read I would suggest contacting our booking service ahead of your next visit for a guaranteed beach or ocean view room which allows you to wake up to the sound of the waves. Regarding the eggs/omelets for breakfast I will look into this with our Food & Beverage Manager, sorry to hear this left you disappointed. And I will be happy to take you for a guided tour of the architecture and all the art in our hotel on your next visit. It is quite impressive and separates us from many other hotels:-).
