Quality Hotel™ Entry

My wife and I have made a tradition of staying an October weekend at QHE, where the sun is shining, whatever the weather might be like outside. Excellent service from a very kind staff, nice rooms and common areas, a very competent kitchen serving a rich breakfast buffet, and delicious ala carte dishes in the cosy hotel restaurant. The hotel offers a large, free parking lot, and is situated only a few minutes away from Kolbotn Center by car. To Oslo it is but a short trip by car. Busses to the city leaves every 30 minutes.

Got a Nice room. Found lots of pubic hair in the bathroom. Complained to the Staff. They did not care. Last time im saying at this Hotel. Cant recommend IT to anyone. Only plus was FREE parking and ok food

I reserved a night in june in this hotel for my family as a pack with two day tickets for Tusenfryd Amusement Park. I think that the location of the hotel was good, close to Oslo but with no traffic and very close to the park (around 10 minutes by car), it was also a quiet area with services as a gas station and supermarket (KIWI), it have also a private parking. The hotel and the room was just OK. The lifts were old, and one of them was eventually broken. The carpet on the corridors seemed to me a bit age-worn but the room was clean and well cared, with a big TV set with access to YouTube and other services. I missed toothpaste, brush, comb, etc. that other hotels give you but of course that's just a detail. The breakfast was great. Lot of things to choose from, healthy options and good quality. There was one thing that annoyed me and was that I reserved through travelparks a Family Room, big, with table, seats, tub and cafee machine but I received a double room with an extra bed. I complained at the admission desk but the man there just told me that in the reservation they received figured a double room and that was what I got. I insisted and wanted to show him the voucher but he was not interested to look anything. Just said that it wasn't their fault and I should claim to the agency. I insisted again and he told me that, anyway, they didn't have any available family room so he suggested the next day to the director. The next day, I spoke with a girl who was very kind and offered me the refund of the money or a bonus card with which I can enjoy one or two nights in any of their hotels, so at the end I was very happy with the solution.

The room was comfortable and well furnished. I had some problem with the TV, and was immediately offered a new room. Everyone from the staff that I've encountered was friendly and helpful. The restaurant had great food and a very nice waiter. It was swift and delicious. The breakfast cannot be compared to what Scandic can offer, but they still had many decent and good options. The hotel itself isn't within walking distance of restaurants or shops, but I think one of its attraction is being surrounded by nature (I was there for work purposes). They have a large free parking.

Good hotell. I was there for business. The food and breakfast vass exselent. The location for the hotell i good. No noise from trafikk ann the city. Only a short trip from Oslo and bus every 30 minuttes.
